Privacy Policy

This beta policy describes Shortsy’s intended production data handling. It should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel before public launch.

Data we process

We process account and workspace identity, subscription and credit records, uploaded source media, generated assets, project settings, transcripts, provider events, support messages and security/operational logs.

Why we process it

We use data to authenticate customers, process and deliver media, calculate credits, operate billing, prevent abuse, recover failed jobs, provide support and improve service reliability.

Providers

Production uses Clerk for identity, Stripe for billing, private infrastructure for storage/queues/databases, and configured AI/media providers for requested processing. Platform API secrets are never stored in browser localStorage.

Retention and deletion

Production media expires after 30 days by default unless the workspace policy says otherwise. Project, billing, credit and audit metadata may be retained for legal and operational obligations. Customers can request immediate media or account deletion.

Security and workspace isolation

Production assets are private and downloaded through short-lived signed links. Workspace membership is checked server-side; a client-supplied workspace identifier never grants access.
